Job summary

N Family Club in Aylesbury is opening a new Walton Grove nursery and seeks Flexi Educators to spark creativity and curiosity in children. You’ll support varied shift patterns, lead our learning-through-play ethos, and build trusted relationships with families while following safeguarding procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children in educational settings (nursery practitioner/nursery nurse/apprentice/early years educator).
• Safeguarding/child protection training is desirable and should be updated regularly.
• A genuine passion for education and changing children's lives.
• Positive, glass-half-full outlook with drive and motivation.
• Solutions-driven approach and love for customer service.

Responsibilities

• Cover our nurseries when needed with flexible start and end times.
• Lead the learning through play ethos and our N Curriculum with care and flair.
• Follow daily routines ensuring smooth transitions from meals to naps to play.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with parents.
• Promote child welfare and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed.

Your key responsibilities

• Cover our nurseries when we need you, being flexible on start and end times.
• Lead our ‘learning through play’ ethos and our N Curriculum with care and flair.
• Follow our daily routine and ensure smooth transitions from mealtimes to naptimes to playtimes.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with parents.
• Promote child welfare and ensure safeguarding procedures are always followed.

Our Flexi Educators should have...

• Previous experience working with children in an educational setting (ideally as a nursery practitioner, nursery nurse, apprentice, or early years educator).
• Relevant safeguarding/child protection training (desirable) and be willing to update that training regularly.
• A genuine passion for education and changing the lives of children.
• A positive, glass-half-full outlook.
