Job summary

Plantexpand keeps the vans and vehicles behind the UK's water, power, gas and telecoms networks safe, legal and on the road. Our workshop takes the jobs that need a ramp and a full bay, so our mobile engineers can keep fixing first time out on the road.

The role covers servicing and repairing fleet vans, diagnosing faults with modern equipment, and performing safety checks and tail lift servicing. 45 hours per week with overtime and a discretionary monthly bonus would apply.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 3 light vehicle qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Experience diagnosing faults independently.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Service, inspect and repair fleet vans and light commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose faults with modern diagnostic equipment.
• Carry out vehicle safety and compliance inspections.
• Service and repair tail lifts.
