A leading transport temperature control service provider in Lancaster, NY is seeking a full-time Fleet Technician to maintain and repair a fleet of trailers. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience, a CDL is preferred, and will thrive in a team-oriented environment. Qualifications

Thermo King Northeast currently has a full-time Fleet Technician opening at our location in Lancaster, NY. This position works at a customer facility and will help maintain a fleet of 140 dry vans, 120 reefer trailers and 6 yard horses.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair fleet of trailers per industry standards
  • Follow established technical & administrative processes
  • Complete repair orders and parts usage forms, PM lists and parts accountability
  • Communicate effectively with supervisor, team members & customers
  • Remain current on technical & regulation requirements
  • Perform road service calls, perform road rescue/transport equipment as required
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules, regulations and government guidelines
Position Requirements:
  • 2 years’ experience as an automotive, truck, bus or trailer technician
  • Ability to prioritize, and complete job assignments
  • Proficient with computer operation/usage
  • Valid driver’s license, CDL preferred
  • Reliable, motivated, strong work ethic, can‑do attitude
  • Owns and maintains the proper hand tools to perform job functions
  • A New York State motor vehicle inspector certificate is preferred but not required
