Job summary

Caliber Fleet Solutions is hiring an Automotive Service and Maintenance Technician in Fleet. You will perform a range of duties including testing parts and systems, identifying problems, following checklists, testing and lubricating engines, and repairing or replacing worn components.

You will also explain inspections and repairs to customers, prioritise tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Eligible for company benefits, paid time off, and ongoing training.

Service Center Fleet - North Dallas

JOB SUMMARY

Caliber Fleet Solutions has an immediate job opening for an Automotive Service and Maintenance Technician perform all-purpose duties, which may include, but not limited to: Test Parts and systems to ensure they're working properly, identify mechanical problems, follow checklists to ensure that all critical parts are examined, Test and lubricate the vehicle's engine and other major components, Repair or replace worn parts, such as brake pads and wheel bearings and Explain to clients their automotive problems and the repairs done on their vehicles.

REQUIREMENTS

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage under Caliber's insurance policy.
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including background and MVR checks.
• Nice to have, but not required: Previous collision experience and/or Collision Vo-Tech certification.

ABILITIES/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

• Ability to do consistent physical activity - reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
• Be able to understand instructions - written and verbal
• Can prioritize competing tasks and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment
