A respected business is seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to lead and develop its extensive vehicle operations. You will oversee a large fleet of vehicles including HGVs, LCVs and specialist machinery. Your remit will include ensuring compliance, cost efficiency, safety and service excellence across all fleet activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, manage and develop the fleet function across multiple sites.
  • Oversee vehicle acquisition, maintenance and replacement programmes to optimise operational efficiency.
  • Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts for vehicle supply, leasing and maintenance.
  • Drive continuous improvement in fleet utilisation, sustainability and cost control.
  • Provide strategic leadership, reporting directly to senior management on fleet performance and compliance metrics.
Desired Candidate
  • Proven experience managing a large, mixed fleet including HGVs and specialist vehicles.
  • Strong understanding of transport compliance, health & safety and fleet optimisation.
