A major healthcare provider in Camden Town is seeking a dedicated vehicle maintenance officer to ensure high standards of cleanliness and maintenance for its fleet of patient transport vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and basic vehicle maintenance knowledge. Responsibilities include preparing ambulances, conducting vehicle checks, and ensuring compliance with policies. This role is crucial for ensuring the health and safety of colleagues and patients.
The post holder will be a vital member of the team who will ensure that a fleet of circa 50 - 60 patient transport vehicles are maintained to the highest possible standard. They post holder will work both independently and under the direction of the Shift Managers. This role will help to ensure that the Trust is complaint with a range of policies and procedures ensuring the health and safety of colleagues, patients and the general public. The post holder will have a keen eye for detail and a methodical work approach. The post holder will need to work outside in a range of weather conditions. Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge is preferable.
