Job description

Commercial Fleet Inspector

Salary: £35,977.50 + bonus

Full time, permanent. Average 44 hours per week. Flexible hours working early, late and weekends.

You will inspect customer fleets, ensure vehicles are safe and compliant, and plan your tasks around your assigned portfolio. You will conduct inspections, identify maintenance needs and liaise with customers and colleagues to keep Britain’s fleets running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and schedule fleet inspections within monthly/quarterly cycles.
• Identify defects and maintenance needs to ensure fleet safety and compliance.
• Build effective working relationships with customers, Tyre Technicians, Area Sales Managers, and Depot Managers.
• Maintain high service levels and meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Requirements

• Valid Right to Work in the UK and a full UK driver’s licence.
• Experience in a commercial vehicle tyre role (e.g., Commercial Tyre Technician) or similar.
• Expert knowledge of tyre husbandry and maintenance.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and working hours.
