Role: Fleet Coordinator

Location: Coalville

Reference: 11245

Duration: Permanent on site

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.45am to 5.15pm

JR Personnel are an employment agency acting on behalf of a highly successful client who is looking for a Fleet Coordinator. In this key role, you will be fully supporting the Fleet Manager with vehicle servicing and the management of the drivers. As Fleet Coordinator you will supervise and guide the drivers, always ensuring adherence to compliance. Role profile:

  • Ensure all Health and Safety procedures are adhered to
  • Assist the Fleet Manager and Planning with fleet servicing, vehicle dimensions and restrictions, drivers time and secure extra support (external hauliers) when required.
  • Report all incidents
  • Assist with recruitment and training of new drivers

Monitor drivers performance and conduct

  • Provide support with office administration, to include raising purchase orders, processing invoices, placing orders for diesel, dealing with expenses
  • Support with all servicing of the fleet
  • Support with the purchasing and hiring of new vehicles
  • Ensure roadworthiness of fleet
  • Tachograph compliance

Essential Criteria:

  • 3-5 years’ experience of working in fleet / driver planning
  • Excellentanalytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrableleadership experience, with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships and communicate confidently with clients and colleagues at all levels.
