Are you ready to take the next step in your logistics career as a Fleet Coordinator?

My client is one of the UK's leading logistics firms, known for delivering reliable transport and fleet services across the country. They are looking for a proactive Fleet Coordinator to join their fast-paced team, providing first-class support to HGV drivers and internal operations. As a Fleet Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring vehicles are maintained, incidents are managed efficiently, and drivers receive the support they need. The role is a temporary position based in Appleton, Warrington and requires commitment until the end of the year, with the potential to turn into something more for the right candidate.

What will you be doing as a Fleet Coordinator?
  • Manage and liaise with maintenance suppliers regarding breakdowns, repairs, and routine maintenance of the fleet
  • Respond to driver calls promptly, delivering excellent customer service
  • Take ownership of individual incidents, liaising with accident management and operations teams
  • Report vehicle defects and respond to breakdowns
  • Ensure suppliers meet agreed service levels
  • Liaise regularly with fleet managers, operations teams, drivers, account managers, contractors, and driver agencies
We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:
  • Previous experience within helpdesk, customer service, logistics, or fleet administration (similar roles: Fleet Administrator, Fleet Coordinator, Driver Line, Logistics Account Manager)
  • Calm and confident under pressure
  • Excellent communication and strong customer service skills
  • Full driving licence and access to own transport due to location
  • Experience in logistics is desirable but not essential
What will you get in return for your work as a Fleet Coordinator?
  • £13.05 per hour
  • Shift work on a 4 on/4 off basis across a rolling 7‑day working week Monday to Sunday, 38.5 hours a week, working between 6am and 6pm
  • Free parking at the site based in Appleton, Warrington
  • Opportunity for overtime at enhanced rates and bonuses
  • Paid holidays in addition to your salary
  • Weekly pay
