Job summary

Driver Hire Croydon & Sutton is seeking a 3.5T (Cat B) flat bed driver to deliver hire tools across central London, including tails lifts. The role is temp-to-perm with weekly pay for the temp phase and a £30K per year perm salary.

Typical shifts are Monday to Friday with 7:30 starts and minimum 8 hours per day. Ideal candidates hold a Category B licence with up to 6 points, have knowledge of Mitcham and surrounding areas, and are comfortable with loading/unloading equipment using ratchet

Qualifications

• Must hold UK Category B driving licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences
• Knowledge of central London routes and delivery areas is essential
• Experience delivering hire equipment/tools and loading/unloading
• Tail lift operation experience is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Deliver hire tools and equipment across central London areas
• Operate a flat bed vehicle with tail lift as required
• Complete daily paperwork and payroll-friendly timesheets
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any faults or issues promptly

3.5T (Cat B) flat bed vehicle with tail lift Driver

Temp to Perm position for the right candidate.

Temp PAYE rate £14.75 including holiday pay £17.50 Overtime

Perm salary £30K

We are seeking 3.5T (Cat B) flat bed vehicle with tail lift driver, for one of our customers based in Mitcham. Delivering hire tools, from a small drill to temporary fencing in and around central London, good knowledge of the area required. You must have previously used ratchet straps.

As a van driver you must have:

• UK Category B licence
• No more than 6 points for minor offences
• There may be some restrictions for insurance purposes (please phone for details).

The successful driver can expect:

• Monday - Friday shifts minimum 8 hours
• 07:30 start
• Weekly pay every Friday

This position would also be suitable for van drivers and delivery drivers and is commutable from Sutton, Coulsdon, Purley, Mitcham, Thornton Heath and Wallington
