Overview

Job Title: Fixed Wing CAMO Planner

Location: Oxford

Hours: Full-time, standard office hours with flexibility for on-call duties

Salary: £45k-£60k DOE

Role Overview : As a CAMO Engineer Planner, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the continuing airworthiness of a diverse range of business jets. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who collaborates closely with maintenance teams, flight operations, and stakeholders, while complying with regulatory requirements to maintain the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the continuing airworthiness of company aircraft by coordinating with Aircraft Maintenance Organisations (AMOs), Operations, and OEMs to plan requirements and resolve technical issues.
  • Forecast, update, and maintain aircraft logbooks and physical records of all maintenance activities, including via computer and web-based planning systems.
  • Plan and administer activities with external providers, ensuring they are carried out to the required standard in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Assist AMOs in the recovery of aircraft from AOG situations.
  • Monitor fleet certificates and subscriptions for Airframe, Engine, and APU to ensure maintenance data, warranty support programs, and related services are up to date and compliant with regulatory authority requirements.
  • Ensure maintenance conducted on assigned aircraft is performed in accordance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure applicable Airworthiness Directives (ADs), modifications (SBs), and repairs are carried out and appropriately recorded.
  • Maintain the company’s maintenance tracking system (CAMP) to reflect the approved maintenance program accurately.
  • Prepare and assist the CAM in document preparation as required by authorities for Certificates of Airworthiness renewals and other aircraft document reviews.
  • Monitor, assess, and approve all engineering invoices applicable to assigned aircraft in a timely manner.
  • Attend operations meetings to provide updates on aircraft status, planned maintenance, and financial status.
  • Regularly liaise with Maintenance Organisations, Operations, and Flight Crew to ensure any scheduled or unscheduled maintenance is communicated effectively.
  • Be available for out-of-hours cover / on-call for the department as agreed.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the CAM or the nominated deputy.
  • Perform such other tasks as are reasonably requested by the Company SLT
