A healthcare provider in Scotland seeks a Fixed Term Specialty Doctor in Community Child Health. This role involves joining a team providing community-based paediatric services to children and young people. The position requires 24 hours per week and is fixed term for 6 months. Candidates must have a valid GMC licence to practise before starting. Exciting opportunities exist within Child Development and Neurodisability Services.
The successful applicant will join a dynamic Community Child Health Department, within a Combined Child Health Service of NHS Grampian. They will join the Team of Consultants, Associate Specialists and Specialty Doctors who provide a range of Community based Paediatric Services to children and young people living in and around Aberdeenshire.
This post is for 24 hours per week (6PAs) and is Fixed Term for 6 months. The post offers exciting opportunities to work within Child Development and Neurodisability Services, delivered in Community settings, whilst based within the Community Child Health Department at Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital. The department is an integral part of Combined Child Health and has strong links with General Paediatric Departments, CAMHS and other Paediatric Specialties based in the Hospital.
