A healthcare organization in Porthcawl is seeking a committed General Practitioner for a 10-month fixed-term position. The role involves working in a supportive team environment with opportunities for personal development. The ideal candidate will have completed GP training and possess a dedication to patient care. We are looking for someone to join the practice team on a 10 month fixed term contract from February-December 2026. We are looking for someone to work 4 sessions - these sessions would be over 2 days and would be on a Thursday and a Friday.
To work as part of the practice team and undertake the normal range of GP duties including calls, duty and normal clinics on a rota basis.
Porthcawl Group Practice is a large, progressive, teaching practice situated in the seaside town of Porthcawl. The practice is an extremely busy one with up to 14 doctors (7 Partners, 8 salaried GPs & registrars in training) at any one time. The practice offers a pleasant but challenging place to work, serving a predominantly elderly population of high demand/expectations and multi-morbidity.
