Fixed Term Contracts Manager - South West Norse

12 Month Contract - December 2025-December 2026

£37,003.20 per annum

40 hours per week

Monday to Friday

South West Norse represents the highly successful joint venture partnership between Norse Group and Devon County Council, providing a range of facilities management and contract services across the South West. We have a fantastic career opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join our well-equipped cleaning team-based Exeter.

*This Position is being offered on a Fixed Term Contract working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday.*

Responsibilities
  • Management of onsite teams to deliver services and perform tasks as set out in the SLA, to include cleaning, Compliance, and waste control.
  • To support the recruitment and appointment of caretaking and cleaning staff in consultation with Area Manager and clients.
  • Ensure cleaning teams are adequately trained and competent in order to achieve the required standards of performance, flexibility, and safety.
  • Ensure all relevant legislation, codes of practice, and Norse Group Policies are conformed to.

  • We are looking for a talented individual that possesses extensive experience and knowledge of FM Soft Services as well as an ambition to develop within a national organisation. We are further looking for you to demonstrate:
  • Experience managing a large cleaning team
  • Experience in managing and liaising with subcontractors
  • Fully conversant with Health & Safety legislation
  • Able to influence others in a range of situations and work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
Our Offer
  • A competitive salary of £37,003.20 per annum
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro rata)
