Senior Analyst – GIC FI Trade Operations

“I can succeed as a Trade Operations Analyst Senior at Capital Group.” As a Trade Operations Senior Analyst, you’ll support the investment process for Capital Group. You have a genuine interest in collateral management, derivatives, and fixed income securities, along with a strong focus on client centricity. You’ll play a critical role in the post-trade process, supporting margin management, collateral obligations, product lifecycle activities, and settlement functions. You’ll work closely with key stakeholders, including our Investment Group, Legal and Compliance teams, vendors, brokers, custodians, and client relationship teams. Your expertise and leadership will be leveraged through your ability to serve as a technical subject matter expert. You will demonstrate ownership, accountability, and a proactive approach to issue management while providing guidance, mentorship, and technical coaching to associates.

“I am the person Capital Group is looking for.” You have extensive collateral management experience across OTC derivatives, cleared derivatives, and securities financing transactions, including variation margin, initial margin, dispute management, substitutions, lifecycle events, and collateral settlement processes. You have experience supporting the post-trade processing and lifecycle management of OTC and cleared derivatives, including interest rate swaps, CDS, FX forwards, FX options, futures, and options. You have knowledge of derivative market infrastructure, including clearing houses (CCPs), clearing brokers, trade repositories, custodians, and counterparties. You have working knowledge of ISDAs, MSFTAs and the nuances across different product types and market workflows. You have a strong understanding of collateral-related regulatory requirements and industry developments, with the ability to translate regulatory change into effective operational processes. You have knowledge of and/or experience with industry utilities such as Aladdin, FailStation, AcadiaSoft, TriOptima, CRD, MarkitWire, TradeSuite, Traiana, Bloomberg, Tradeweb, and MTM. You can manage and prioritize multiple projects with competing deadlines. You can analyze complex data, identify key trends and insights, and leverage automation and technology solutions to drive operational efficiency and informed decision‑making. You thrive in a dynamic environment and are comfortable navigating ambiguity, helping to shape and establish a new regional function while partnering closely with colleagues across global locations. You are highly detail‑oriented and demonstrate accuracy in a deadline‑driven environment, providing guidance in complex situations, and reviewing the work of others.
