Job summary

Insight Investment is seeking a hands-on Business Analyst to work closely with Portfolio Managers, Investment teams, Technology and Operations. You will gather requirements, analyse complex issues, and support delivery across the full project lifecycle.

The role requires strong data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and experience with Agile delivery to drive change and improvements across multiple teams and sites.

Qualifications

• Experience collecting and interpreting data and identifying patterns in structured and unstructured data sets.
• Ability to apply analytical approaches to requirements discovery and solution delivery.
• Strong stakeholder engagement with the ability to communicate at the appropriate level.
• Experience gathering requests and technical specifications.
• Experience in Agile teams using Scrum or Kanban.
• Ability to streamline processes and identify real pain points.
• Cross-team initiatives definition and driving change with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and detail the product backlog with Epics, Features, and Stories.
• Help prioritise work between business owners and teams.
• Engage senior stakeholders including Senior Portfolio Managers.
• Serve as the communication channel between product owners, business owners and the Agile team.
• Contribute to planning and execution of system and acceptance testing.
• Perform Just-In-Time analysis and documentation to support sprint activities.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle across Insight.
• Build strong relationships across teams and sites.
