Purpose

Keep the hire fleet safe, compliant, and available for customers by carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on plant, vehicles, and equipment.

Key Accountabilities
  • Service and repair plant equipment, excavators and dumpers to manufacturer standards
  • Diagnose faults (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic) quickly and accurately
  • Maintain legal compliance (safety inspections, service records)
  • Prioritise urgent breakdowns to minimise downtime
  • Plan and carry out scheduled servicing to reduce reactive repairs
  • Maintain accurate service records and parts usage logs
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure equipment goes out safe and reliable
  • Take responsibility for workshop condition, tools, and safety
