Job description

Mechanical Fitter - Night Shift

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our team on a permanent night shift basis.

Location: Doncaster DN11
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 10:00pm - 6:00am
Salary: £50,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical fitting, maintenance, and repair work on plant and machinery
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults in a timely manner
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Complete planned and reactive maintenance tasks
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations
• Accurately complete maintenance documentation

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Mechanical Fitter role or similar
• Strong mechanical knowledge and fault-finding ability
• Ability to work independently during night shifts
• Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Relevant mechanical qualifications or apprenticeship (preferred)
