Job summary

Omega Plc is seeking an experienced fabricator/fitter to join its team of skilled craftspeople. You''ll be responsible for constructing, fitting out, and finishing bespoke catering trailers to exacting standards, focusing on precision fitting, panel work, joinery, and finishing.

Candidates with experience in coach building, shop fitting, caravan construction, or related precision fitting disciplines are welcome; there is no requirement for electrical or plumbing skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in coach building, shop fitting, joinery, vehicle body building, caravan construction, or precision fitting role.

Responsibilities

• Construct and assemble catering trailer bodies using aluminium, stainless steel, and composite panels.
• Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work orders to deliver accurate builds.
• Fabricate and fit internal and external framework, ensuring structural integrity.
• Install and secure flooring, wall panels, and roof structures to manufacturer and safety standards.
• Install doors, hatches, and serving counters with precision fitting.
• Fit internal equipment mounting points and support structures.
• Apply sealants, trim, and finishing materials to achieve water-tight, professional results.
• Install external cladding, signage mounting points, and aesthetic features.
• Construct and install internal joinery, counters, shelving, and storage solutions.

You'll be responsible for constructing, fitting out, and finishing bespoke catering trailers to exacting standards. This role centres on precision fitting, panel work, joinery, and finishing — there is no requirement for electrical or plumbing skills.

• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Ability to safely lift materials and work in varied physical positions.
