The Kingston Academy is seeking a proactive Gym & Fitness Facility Manager to lead the day‑to‑day operations of the new gym. You will oversee safety, deliver inductions and fitness programmes, and foster a welcoming environment for pupils, staff, parents and the local community.
With Level 3 PT and a strong customer‑facing mindset, you will build a thriving membership base, work independently, and uphold safeguarding standards while championing inclusion and high quality service.
The postholder will be responsible for the safe, professional and effective day to day operation of the School's new gym and fitness facility. The gym will serve pupils, school staff, parents and members of the local community. As a new facility, the postholder will play an important role in establishing the gym, developing a positive and sustainable membership base and creating a welcoming, inclusive and high quality fitness environment. This is a practical, hands on management role combining gym operations, fitness instruction, customer service, membership engagement and community development. The successful candidate will ensure that the gym operates safely and efficiently, provides an excellent experience for users and grows steadily over time, while maintaining the safeguarding, health and safety and operational standards expected within a school environment.
