Job summary

Places Leisure Group is seeking a Fitness Manager to oversee the fitness team and ensure targets for Personal Training, Small Group Training, and programming are met. You will work with management and report KPI and budget data while also managing the class timetable.

The ideal candidate will have a career in fitness or military physical training and be capable of strategic planning for a busy fitness operation. NVQ Level 3 in fitness (or equivalent) is essential.

Qualifications

• An NVQ Level 3 in fitness or equivalent is essential.
• Candidates should have a proven track record in the fitness industry or military physical training.
• Experience in managerial roles within fitness environments is preferred.

Job description

As Fitness Manager you will be responsible for supervising the whole of the fitness team. The fitness team are responsible for ensuring all individual & Personal Training/Small Group Training and Programming targets are achieved. You will work with the management team, reporting directly to the General Manager and provide KPI and financial budgetary information. You will also manage the class timetable including group exercise classes.

You will have developed a career within the fitness industry (or military physical training) and be looking to continue in a managerial role. You will be as comfortable delivering fitness training as you are planning long term strategies to promote and develop a busy fitness function. An NVQ level 3 in fitness (or equivalent) is essential.
