Job description

Permanent. Part‑time, 20 hours per week – Must be flexible to cover additional days for sickness/holiday cover when needed. You will work at Richmond Villages Letcombe Regis, a luxury retirement living community that promotes independence and honours individual choice. The fitness instructor role is focused on keeping residents healthy, active and engaged.

Responsibilities

• Assisting members in setting and achieving their fitness goals, offering advice and encouragement during each visit.
• Ensuring you’re aware of every member’s health status prior to each appointment and keeping records up‑to‑date.
• Providing safe instruction to all Wellness Spa users.
• Promoting member participation and a fun, welcoming atmosphere to support membership retention.
• Informing the Wellness Spa Manager of any relevant issues in a timely manner.
• Developing and promoting organised fitness events such as challenges and group activities.
• Supporting the Spa Manager to increase visits and revenue, and promoting other spa services.

Qualifications

Previous experience and qualifications in instructing fitness classes is essential, as this role requires teaching multiple classes during a shift. Experience working in spas or the fitness industry, and a pool responder qualification, is desirable. Great patience, customer service skills and a proactive attitude will help you succeed.

Hours and Pay

£13.00 per hour. Paid breaks and flexible working are included.
