Chailey Heritage Foundation is seeking a Specialist Fitness & Activities Coordinator in North Chailey, East Sussex. You will design and deliver a varied programme of physical activity across education, care and adult services, tailoring sessions to individual goals and abilities.
You will work with physiotherapists to personalise activity plans, plan gym sessions, and develop ideas that boost participation, while ensuring a safe and engaging environment.
Location: North Chailey, East Sussex (BN8 4EF)
Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week
Salary: £25,882 per annum

We're looking for a Specialist Fitness & Activity Coordinator to join our dedicated team, delivering engaging, personalised gym sessions, games and rebound therapy alongside physiotherapists and multidisciplinary colleagues.
You'll coordinate and deliver a varied programme of physical activity, adapting every session to the individual's goals, abilities and interests. Working across our education, care and adult services, you'll help people build confidence, develop skills and enjoy the benefits of being active. You'll also:
We're looking for someone who brings professional fitness knowledge together with warmth, creativity and a genuine passion for helping others. You'll hold a recognised Level 3 Fitness qualification and have experience working in a fitness environment. Experience supporting people with disabilities or complex needs would be an advantage, but just as important is your ability to build relationships, adapt your approach and see the potential in every individual. Rebound therapy training will be supported if you’re the right person for this role.
