Job summary

Everton Football Club is seeking a Kit Assistant to join the Men’s First Team support operations at Finch Farm training ground in Liverpool. You will provide kit and equipment services to players and staff for home and away games, tours and activities, while supporting stock control and inventory processes.

The role requires driving a manual van, strong admin and planning skills, and flexibility around hours. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Liverpool with a 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a kit management (or similar) and matchday provision setting in elite level sports.
• Experience managing stock and working with a stock control system.
• Outstanding administration, organisation and planning skills, with the ability to adapt and be solution oriented.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Support the Kit Manager in all areas of the kit management operation; liaise to determine priorities for provisions.
• Support the kit department in other areas of the club as required/directed by Kit Manager.
• Organise and coordinate all kit and equipment for home/away games, tours, tournaments and activities.
• Ensure all kit is labelled and branded for each person, using a heat press for training and match kit.
• Manage kit inventory, forecasting, order creation, delivery scheduling, distribution and stock management.
• Be able to drive a manual van to training sessions and matches.
• Manage stock and work with a stock control system.
• Comply with Premier League, FA and EFL requirements.

About the opportunity:

Weare looking for aKit Assistanttojoin us andplay a key rolewithin ourEverton Men’s FirstTeam.

As Kit Assistant, you willprovide all services and support within the kit and equipment operation to players and staff within the Men’s First Team.

Some key responsibilities as part of this role will include:

• Supporting the Kit Manager in all areas of the kit management operation; liaising with them to determine order of priorities for provisions
• Supporting the kit dept in other areas of the club (i.e women's and academy) as required/ directed by Kit Manager
• To organise and co-ordinate all kit and equipment as part of the programme, including all home and away games, tours, tournaments, and activities following any changes to the weekly planner
• Ensure all kit is they are appropriately labelled and branded for each person, using a heat press to print both training and match kit
• Assist in the management of the kit inventory system ensuring kit allocation policy is adhered to (i.e kit requirement forecasting, order creation, delivery scheduling, kit distribution and stock management
• The post holder will need to be able to drive a manual van to training sessions and matches
• Managing stock and working with a stock control system
• Complying with the requirements of the Premier League, The FA and EFL

Who we are looking for:

We are looking an individual who is able to demonstrate excellent inter-personal skills with an ability to build rapport and positive relationships with all levels of an organisation.

• Previousexperience within a kit management (or Similar) and matchday provision setting in elite level sports
• Experience managing stock and working with a stock control system
• You must have outstandingadministration,organisationand planning skills with the abilityto adapt quickly, be flexible in the face of change and solution orientated

Essential Qualifications:

• Full UK Driving Licence

This is a physically demanding role, which involves manual handling; applicants must be able to safely perform tasks associated with the post in line with Health & Safety guidance.

The role is permanent and will be based at Finch Farm training ground in Liverpool (Halewood); working 40 hours per week– A willingness to be flexible around working hours as and when neededis essential.
