Qualifications

• Experience in a high growth Fintech or Financial SaaS environment.
• Strong understanding of cloud native architecture, preferably GCP.
• Knowledge of data privacy frameworks (UK GDPR, EU GDPR, etc.).
• Ability to interpret system architecture diagrams and identify control gaps.

Responsibilities

• Own the first-line risk framework for Synthix.
• Lead Risk assessment and governance.
• Support Client Assurance & due diligence.
• Run structured post-incident reviews.
• Train teams on designing safe Client facing platforms.

Skills

Experience in first line risk role

Understanding of cloud native architecture

Knowledge of data privacy frameworks

Conceptual understanding of APIs

Understanding of AI Model governance

Strong ability to design controls
