Job summary

Somerset NHS Foundation Trust in Somerset across Primary Care Networks invites an experienced MSK physiotherapist to join our forward-thinking MSK FCP service. You will deliver expert assessment, diagnosis and management, helping patients access the right care at the right time while supporting self-management in local communities.

You’ll work with a network of advanced clinicians, with protected time for development, peer learning and career progression.

Qualifications

• Registered physiotherapist with HCPC and MSK experience.
• Demonstrated ability to perform MSK assessments and diagnosis.
• Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills.

Are you an experienced and motivated musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapist looking for a new challenge as part of a dynamic, innovative and supportive team?If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Primary Care Networks across Somerset as an MSK First Contact Practitioner.Would you like to work within a forward-thinking service that is leading the way in improving MSK pathways and service delivery?We work collaboratively across Somerset to deliver integrated MSK services and a system wide host model improving access to the right care, by the right person, at the right time.Our integrated MSK service provides accessible expert assessment, diagnosis and advice, with a key focus on identifying the most appropriate care pathway and on supporting patients to self-manage and access local support within their communities., Provide expert clinical care as an MSK First Contact Practitioner, assessing patients without prior GP consultation and determing the most appropriate management plan.
