A healthcare organization in Edingley CP is seeking a First Contact Practitioner Physiotherapist to join their dynamic team. You will provide high-quality musculoskeletal physiotherapy assessments and treatment plans independently. The ideal candidate must have a BSc in Physiotherapy, HCPC registration, and at least three years of relevant experience. We have an exciting opportunity for a First Contact Practitioner Physiotherapist (FCP) to join our dynamic team. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about providing high quality care. PICS has a Clinical MSK FCP Lead in post to ensuring its FCPs are fulfilling the requirements of the NHS England FCP Roadmap. We are committed to further the development of FCPs as specialist MSK professionals in primary care.
To work as an autonomous specialist MSK practitioner in providing and delivering musculoskeletal physiotherapy assessments and treatment plans.
To act independently to assess, analyse and provide a clinical diagnosis for individual patients, including those presenting with complex conditions, to determine their need for further MSK or non-MSK intervention. This should involve an understanding of when to refer to other services such as diagnostics, pathology, T&O, medication reviews, pain management, rheumatology, community physiotherapy and injection therapy.
Write contemporaneous clinical notes using SystmOne, Arden's Templates and provide advice and support with additional electronic software (eg. PhysioTec, AccuRx etc) in line with professional standards.
BSc or equivalent in Physiotherapy
HCPC Registered
Minimum of three years musculoskeletal experience.
