Job summary

EdEx – Education Recruitment is seeking a First-Class Graduate Mentor for a Southend-On-Sea secondary school on a permanent, term-time-only contract starting September 2026. This role is based at the school and focuses on supporting ambitious students across KS3-5.

You will provide subject-specific mentoring, guidance on study skills and university applications, and deliver 1:1 and group enrichment sessions while collaborating with teaching staff to advance student progress and aspiration.

Qualifications

• A recent graduate with a First-Class Honours degree (any discipline).
• Experience working with young people in educational or mentoring contexts.
• A confident and inspiring communicator.
• A genuine passion for education and helping students reach their potential.
• Strong academic background and excellent organisational skills.

What will this First-Class Graduate Mentor position involve?
