Job summary

British Red Cross is seeking a Trainer to deliver first aid and specialist courses in Birmingham and surrounding areas. You will teach essential life-saving skills, adapt to diverse learning styles, and provide ongoing support to learners.

The role requires travel to multiple venues and a confident, engaging presence. The ideal candidate will have a teaching qualification or be willing to pursue one, plus a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Qualifications

• Must have a Training or Teaching qualification, or be willing to work towards one.
• Comfortable travelling to training locations using own vehicle.
• Experience delivering a range of training courses with clear presentation to mixed ability groups.

Responsibilities

• Conduct first aid training and specialist courses to equip participants with essential skills.
• Demonstrate correct action steps in emergencies and ensure learner confidence.
• Travel to training venues across Birmingham, West Midlands and surrounding areas.
