Job summary

A local educational institution in Worcester is seeking a First Aid Room Officer to assist with medical needs during term time. The role requires excellent communication skills and integrity while working with young people. This position involves 8 hours of work per week on Thursdays and Fridays. First Aid Room Officer

Job Start Date: As soon as possible

Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only + 1 TE day

Actual Salary: Scale 2 (Pts 3-4) £4,626.80 - £4,699.38 per annum

Hours: 8 hours per week

The Chase has a vacancy for a competent person to assist in the school’s First Aid Room. You will be the first point of contact for the first aid/medical needs of the school and will be expected to be a proactive member of the Pastoral Team. You will be working 8 hours a week, Thursdays & Fridays (10 am to 2 pm), Term Time Only, with occasional cover when required. You will ideally hold a First Aid/Management of Medicines in School qualification or will be willing to train with immediate effect. You will possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal and be able to communicate effectively across all levels.

The successful candidate will be able to work with integrity and display sound judgment; respecting confidentiality at all times and have the confidence to work with young people.
