Job summary

Google Pixel Testing Engineering is seeking a skilled engineer to advance IMS/Telephony and NAS features for Pixel devices. You will design, test, and optimize Android/Modem software, focusing on IMS and NAS performance in collaboration with Pixel software teams and chipset partners.

You will drive AI-driven automation to streamline tasks and contribute to process improvements that accelerate product velocity and quality across carrier testing and validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 5 years of experience with IMS protocols and 3GPP NAS.
• 5 years of experience with LTE or 5G NR.

Responsibilities

• Develop, customize and plan tests of Android/Modem software in IMS/Telephony/NAS.
• Analyze Android/Modem IMS, NAS and AS protocol issues.
• Collaborate with cross-layer and cross-organization teams for issue prioritization.
• Use AI and automation to improve productivity and triage issues.
• Generate ideas and improve engineering processes and automation.
