A regional police service is seeking a Firearms Licensing Administration Officer based in Northallerton. This office-based role involves processing firearm certificate applications and ensuring compliance with licensing standards. The successful candidate should have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience in office administration. Contract: Full time | Temporary until 31 March 2028
Hours: 37 hours per week | Monday to Thursday 8am – 4 pm & Friday 8am – 3.30pm
Salary: £23,748 - £28,653 (NYP Scale 2 – 4)

As a Firearms Licensing Administration Officer, you will play a key role in delivering an efficient and effective Firearms Licensing Service across the North Yorkshire Police area. You will handle office duties and telephone enquiries promptly and accurately, ensuring the highest standards of professionalism are maintained.
