Job summary

Armstrong Fluid Technology is seeking a Fire Application Engineering Specialist for the UK and Continental Europe. The role is permanent and on-site at the Manchester office with travel across the UK and CE, supporting sales teams with technical expertise, proposal development, and training for Armstrong Fire solutions.

You will collaborate with Fire Offering Management, Sales, Aftermarket, Service and Engineering to advance the Fire business, review drawings and calculations, deliver technical

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Engineering Technology or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years with automatic fire sprinkler systems and/or fire pumps.
• 5+ years in application engineering/technical sales and service support.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate customer inquiries, specifications and drawings to determine Armstrong Fire solutions.
• Develop, prepare and present technical proposals for Armstrong Fire solutions.
• Provide pre-sales technical support with documentation, drawings and calculations.
• Support regional sales teams with technical insight, proposal reviews and solution positioning.
• Deliver training sessions for Armstrong sales teams, service teams and partners.
• Attend exhibitions and trade shows in the dedicated area.
