Job summary

EFT Systems in the United Kingdom is recruiting a Technical Sales Estimator to support enquiry handling, technical surveying, system design input and quotation production across fire, life safety and security works. The role is predominantly office-based with 60% desk-based estimating and 40% site surveys in the North.

You will survey premises, develop technical solutions, prepare accurate quotations and ensure compliance with relevant standards, while providing technical support throughout the

Qualifications

• Experience producing estimates, quotations and technical designs from drawings and specifications.
• Strong engineering background in fire alarm systems, security systems and life safety technologies.
• Knowledge of British Standards relating to fire systems and BA FE codes.
• Experience surveying client premises and engaging with customers and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate quotations from drawings, specs, schedules and client information for desk-based opportunities.
• Survey premises when required to gather information and confirm project scope for proposals.
• Develop technical solutions and select equipment ensuring labour, materials and compliance are reflected in quotations.
• Provide technical support to engineers, operational teams and customers throughout quotation and delivery.
• Respond to technical inquiries via phone, email and meetings with clear explanations of proposed solutions.
