Location: North London
Salary: Up to £40,000 + £2,000 on Security Clearance + Company Car + Benefits
Contract: Full-time, 40 hours per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fire & Security Systems Engineer to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team, covering the Haringey/Islington and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:Respond to maintenance calls (both on-site and remotely) as directed by the team coordinators.
Resolve faults on the first visit where possible.
Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance.
Record and update site configuration information.
Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
Participate in an out-of-hours rota to provide emergency support.
Commission small projects as required.
Conduct quality audits and adhere to company procedures.
Provide training to customers and team members as needed.
Perform additional duties in line with business needs.
Proven experience installing and servicing a range of access control, CCTV and intruder alarm systems.
Experience with fire alarm systems, ideally GENT-based.
Relevant IT or Electrical/Electronic qualifications.
Solid understanding of technical IT (e.g., Windows OS installation, networking).
Basic electrical knowledge, such as measuring voltage and current.
Strong attention to detail for documentation and compliance.
A team player who can perform under pressure while maintaining a professional attitude.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including participation in a 24/7 call-out rota.
