Job summary

Brook Street UK is recruiting for a Fire & Security Systems Engineer in Belfast to install, service and maintain a range of fire alarm and electronic security systems. You will troubleshoot faults, guarantee regulatory compliance and provide a professional service across customer sites.

The role requires 2+ years' experience, BFPSA/FIA/BS5839 training, and knowledge of CCTV/Access Control. A full UK driving licence and on-call flexibility are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Fire & Security Systems Engineer or similar role.
• Experience installing, servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems.
• Training/certification BFPSA, FIA or BS5839 required.
• Knowledge of CCTV and/or Access Control systems.
• Full UK driving licence.

Brook Street is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected client in Belfast for a Fire & Security Systems Engineer to join their growing team.

The Role

As a Fire & Security Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and fault finding of a wide range of fire alarm and electronic security systems. You'll ensure all work is completed to the highest standard, in compliance with current industry regulations, and that all required certification is completed accurately.

Working across a variety of customer sites, you'll deliver a professional, reliable service while ensuring all systems remain fully operational and compliant.

Systems & Equipment

You'll have the opportunity to work with a range of industry-leading products, including:

• Apollo fire detection systems
• Fire alarm control panels including Advanced, Morley, C-TEC, Kentec, Ampac and Gent
• CCTV systems
• Access Control systems

Criteria

• A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Fire & Security Systems Engineer or in a similar role
• Proven experience installing, servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems
• BFPSA, FIA or BS5839 training/certification
• Knowledge and experience of CCTV and/or Access Control systems
• A full UK driving licence

You'll also be required to participate in an on-call rota, so flexibility outside of normal working hours is essential.

Monday to Thursday: 8:30am - 5:00pm

Friday: 8:30am - 4:00pm
