Role:Fire & Security Systems Engineer

Location:London and home counties

Employment type:Full-time, Permanent

Salary:£36000 to £40000 pa depending on experience + company van

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Fire & Security Systems Engineer to join growing team. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repairs of a wide range of fire and security systems for commercial, industrial, and residential clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, service, and maintain fire alarm, CCTV, fire detection and security systems to a highest standard
  • Fault finding, diagnostics and repair of systems efficiently and effectively
  • Complete system testing, commissioning, and client handovers
  • Ensure all work complies withBS5839,BS7671,NSI, BAFEand other relevant standards
  • Completion of job sheets and service reports
  • Provide excellent customer service and technical support on-site
  • Participate in anon-call rotafor emergency callouts (as required)

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a similar fire and/or security systems engineering role.
  • Understanding of relevant British Standards (BS5839, BS5266)
  • Good understanding of current standards and legislation.
  • Ability to work independently and manage own workload.
  • FullUK driving licence(essential).
  • Relevantindustry qualifications(FIA units, ECS/CSCS, or equivalent) desirable.
