Job summary

ABCA Group is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm & Life Safety Engineer to service and install advanced fire alarm systems across commercial and industrial sites in the UK. The role emphasizes high-quality workmanship and strong customer service.

The ideal candidate will have Level 2 Fire Engineer qualifications, hands-on experience with VESDA, and the ability to work independently or in a team, with occasional out-of-hours callouts and travel as required.

Qualifications

Minimum Level 2 qualified Fire Engineer.
Proven experience commissioning advanced fire alarm systems.
Strong working knowledge of VESDA systems.
BAFE extinguisher qualification.
Full UK driving licence.
Good IT skills and confidence using tablets/mobile devices for reporting.

Responsibilities

Installation, servicing, maintenance, fault finding, and commissioning of fire alarm systems.
Working on advanced and addressable fire systems across multiple manufacturers.
Servicing and maintaining VESDA systems.
Carrying out inspections and remedial works in line with industry standards.
Providing a professional and customer-focused service on-site.
Completing job reports and documentation accurately using digital systems.
Participating in an out-of-hours callout rota when required.
Supporting other engineers and contributing to a positive team environment.
