Job summary

V7 Recruitment Ltd in the North East is seeking an experienced Fire & Security Installation Engineer for a 6-month contract covering Newcastle, Durham, Teesside and surrounding areas. You will install, commission and test fire alarm and electronic security systems across commercial and industrial sites.

The role requires hands-on installation, testing and commissioning, ability to read technical drawings, and work to British Standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in installing and commissioning fire and security systems.
• Knowledge of British Standards.
• Full UK driving licence.

V7 Recruitment are currently looking for experienced Fire & Security Installation Engineers for a 6-month contract covering Newcastle, Durham, Teesside and the surrounding North East region.

Working with an established national fire and security specialist, engineers will be responsible for installing, commissioning and testing fire alarm and electronic security systems across commercial and industrial sites.

Contract Details

• £250–£275 per day, depending on experience
• 6-month contract
• Work across the North East
• Installation and commissioning projects
• Immediate starts available

Key Responsibilities

• Installation and commissioning of fire alarm systems

Experience Required

• Previous Fire & Security installation experience
• Strong knowledge of fire alarm and electronic security systems
• Experience with installation, testing and commissioning
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good understanding of relevant British StandardsFull UK driving licence
