Smart Search Technical Ltd is seeking engineers with installation experience in the fire and security sector to join a South Wales based team. The role focuses on CCTV/IP systems, access control, door entry and intruder/fire alarm projects.

A professional, dedicated candidate with a strong workmanship ethic and a willingness to train and progress would fit well. Driving licence is essential for site travel and a long‑term career is expected.

Job description

Location: South Wales - Covering South Wales Region
Salary: £38,000

What You Get

• £38,000 basic salary
• Door-to-door pay - you are paid from the moment you leave home (first half hour travel unpaid)
• Time and a half overtime with plenty available
• Monday to Friday only - no weekends
• 40 hours per week, 07:30 - 16:00

The Work

This role is installation focused and includes a high volume of:

• CCTV projects, particularly IP‑based systems
• Access Control installations
• Door Entry and Intercoms
• Intruder Alarms
• Fire Alarm systems
• Integrated fire and security solutions

Good IP knowledge is required, as much of the work involves networked CCTV and Access Control environments across commercial sites.
