Job summary

SECOM Plc is seeking a Fire & Security Multiskilled Installation Engineer to install a range of fire and security systems. You will ensure installations meet design specs, satisfy client expectations, and uphold safety and compliance on site.

You will read plans, complete digital paperwork, order parts, collect equipment, and keep project teams updated. A full UK driving licence and strong liaison with clients are essential for timely project handovers.

Qualifications

• Proven installation experience across fire and security systems.
• Knowledge of Pyronix, IP CCTV, access control and wireless systems.
• Familiar with conventional & addressable fire alarm systems.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Confident reading technical drawings and digitally literate.
• Customer-focused and able to meet deadlines and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Install systems to design specifications and client expectations.
• Read and interpret plans and drawings.
• Complete all digital documentation and order parts.
• Collect equipment and provide site updates to project teams.
• Liaise with internal departments and clients; meet deadlines.
• Support smooth handovers between project stages.
