Job summary

ADJ is seeking a hands-on Fire & Security Engineer to install, commission, service and maintain CCTV, Access Control, Intruder and Fire Alarm systems on client sites across the UK.

You will diagnose faults, provide on-site technical support, and ensure work complies with health and safety standards. A valid UK driving licence and strong customer-facing skills are essential. Competitive salary and company vehicle offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a Fire & Security Engineer.
• Strong technical knowledge of electronic security and fire systems (Galaxy, Texacom, HikVision, Paxton).
• Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude.
• A valid UK driving license (essential for travel to nationwide sites).
• A proactive problem-solver who can work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Installing, commissioning, servicing, and maintaining a wide range of Fire and Security systems (including CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms, and Fire Alarms).
• Diagnosing, fault-finding, and rectifying system errors efficiently.
• Providing exceptional customer service and technical support to clients on-site.
• Ensuring all installations and maintenance work comply with current industry standards and health & safety regulations.
