Fire & Security Engineer

TFS Ltd is a fully accredited BAFE SP203-1 company specializing in the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of fire alarm systems to meet BS5839-1:2017 standards. Our team of trained engineers is available 24/7 for new system commissioning, repairs, and maintenance in line with local regulations and British Standards.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Fire & Security Engineer role located in Middlesbrough. The Fire & Security Engineer will be responsible for the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of fire alarm systems to meet BS5839-1:2017 standards. Day-to-day tasks include system troubleshooting, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and British Standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in fire alarm system design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance
• Knowledge of BS5839-1:2017 standards
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and system inspections
• Certifications in BAFE SP203-1 and other relevant accreditations
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of life safety systems such as Air Sampling/Vesda, Extinguishers, and Access Control
