Job summary

Vibe Recruit is seeking an experienced Fire & Security Commissioning Engineer to join a growing organisation serving the fire and security sector. You will take ownership of systems through commissioning and handover, performing fault finding and testing on fire alarm, security and TECS systems.

You'll work closely with installation and design teams, ensuring projects meet industry standards and client requirements, and you will complete commissioning documentation for successful handovers.

Qualifications

• Strong commissioning and/or electrical engineering experience.
• Experience of electrical testing and verification.
• Knowledge of relevant fire and security standards.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Experience in Fire & Security is advantageous, or transferable electrical/commissioning experience.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning and testing fire alarm, security and TECS systems.
• Fault finding and troubleshooting.
• Electrical testing and verification.
• Collaborate with installation and design teams to deliver projects successfully.
• Ensure systems comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Support successful client handovers.
• Liaise professionally with customers and colleagues on site.
