Job summary

Dawson Jones Recruitment is supporting a public-sector client in filling a Fire Safety Manager role. You will lead fire safety strategy, compliance and delivery across the portfolio, reporting to senior leadership and collaborating with residents and external partners to ensure safe environments.

The role requires overseeing fire risk assessments, fire door programmes and continuous improvement, with a focus on robust governance and compliant operations across departments.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering fire safety compliance within the public sector.
• Experience leading fire risk assessment programmes and fire door compliance.
• Proven track record of leading a fire safety function or team.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership of the fire safety and fire door function with accountability for team performance.
• Set and deliver fire safety strategy, policy and compliance across the organisation.
• Oversee fire risk assessments and ensure actions are prioritised and delivered.
• Lead on fire door programmes including inspection, maintenance and remediation.
• Own fire safety risk management with robust controls and mitigation.
• Act as subject matter expert, advising senior stakeholders on fire safety.
