Job summary

Harrods is seeking a Fire Safety Manager to lead and evolve the store's fire safety culture. You will develop and implement the fire safety strategy, embed best practice, and manage risk across the estate with a proactive approach.

You will oversee fire risk assessments, investigations, and audits while guiding stakeholders to drive continuous improvement. The role is fully on-site in London with occasional out-of-hours work.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Fire Safety Management or Fire Engineering at degree or diploma level.
• Membership of the Institute of Fire Engineers (or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, BS 9999, and Approved Document B.
• Experience managing a fire safety team.
• Experience conducting and managing fire risk assessments and fire safety audits.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Harrods' Fire Safety Team and drive the fire safety strategy.
• Oversee fire risk assessments, inspections and incident investigations.
• Engage with operations, projects and events to influence safety culture and improvements.
• On-site role 5 days a week with occasional out-of-hours work and weekend cover.
