A healthcare organization based in Chester is seeking a Fire Safety Manager to provide expert technical advice and support on fire safety compliance. The post holder will be responsible for implementing fire safety initiatives, overseeing audits, and liaising with local authorities to maintain best practices. Applicants should have expertise in fire safety legislation and experience in risk assessment. An induction program and ongoing training will be provided, aiming to enhance the trust's fire safety operations.
The post holder will be formally appointed in line with Health Technical Memorandum 05‑01: Managing Healthcare Fire Safety. As the Trust’s competent person, they will provide professional advice and support to the Head of Estates to ensure the Trust complies with regulatory requirements, especially the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
Shortlisting for this vacancy will commence on 05/01/2026, with the proposed interview date on 19/01/2026.
All new starters will commence in post on one fixed start date each month, in line with our Prepare to Care (P2C) induction programme. P2C offers up to three weeks of training to support you to meet the induction and initial training requirements of the role.
