Job summary

Tetra Tech Europe is seeking a Fire Safety Adviser to deliver high‑quality Type 1–4 fire risk assessments, compartmentation surveys and fire risk management plans. You will interpret UK fire legislation, record findings clearly, and collaborate with clients and project teams to define practical remedial measures.

The role combines independent site work, technical reporting, and contribution to team development as the practice expands within the UK, Ireland, and the Netherlands.

Qualifications

• Proven fast-paced Fire Risk Assessor/Adviser experience.
• IFE or IFSM membership and third-party assessor registration.
• Full UK driving licence required; UK security clearance may be needed.
• Level 3/4 Fire Safety diplomas or equivalent training are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Type 1–4 fire risk assessments and related reports.
• Perform compartmentation surveys and assess passive fire protection.
• Develop and implement fire risk management plans for varied occupancies.
• Interpret UK fire legislation and guidance; advise on mitigations.
• Engage with clients and project teams to drive practical remedial actions.
