Level of Experience: Trainee Fire Risk Assessor through to Lead Fire Risk Assessor

Profile: Our client is a multidiscipline company who specialise within Fire, Health and safety and asbestos industries, providing a wide range of services to a mixed portfolio of clients across the UK. Do to acquiring new contracts, they are now looking to take on an experienced and competent Fire Risk Assessor, the ideal candidate will have experience undertaking risk assessments on varied sites, in line with relevant Health Safety legislations and will Ideally hold the NEBOSH Fire certificate.

Experience & Qualifications

• Must hold the NEBOSH Fire certificate or NEBOSH Fire Conversion Technical status with recognised bodies.
• Will Ideally have good consultancy, technical and health & safety background within the fire industry.
• Must hold in depth knowledge and experience of unstacking fire risk assessments on a range of sites.
• Must have working knowledge of relevant Health & Safety procedures.
• Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in using Microsoft office.

The Role

• Undertaking fire and health and safety risk assessments.
• Setting out fire plan drawings, fire drills, fire wardens, and use of fire extinguishers.
• Undertaking real fire training, briefing and delivering training courses.
• Managing and developing the company’s client base.
• Providing fire and safety guidance.Investigating incidents accordingly.
• Producing fire risk assessments and reports, ensuring they comply with relevant fire Health & Safety legislations.
• Building and maintaining good working relationships with clients and dealing with issues accordingly.

Alternative Job titles: Fire risk assessor, Environmental Risk Assessor, Health and safety assessor.

Overall the successful candidate will bring their excellent technical experience working in the fire risk industry and will demonstrate a strong work ethic. Prospective candidates must also be prepared to travel extensively as per client requirements.
