Job Title: Fire Risk Assessor

Our client is a multi-disciplined Environmental company, who are seeking a knowledgeable Fire Risk Assessor to cover contracts in the South East of England. Applicants must have existing experience of undertaking Fire Risk Assessments across a variety of client sites. Holding memberships such as IFE and / or IFSM would be beneficial. Experience / Qualifications

• Must have experience undertaking Fire Risk Assessments across a mixed portfolio of sites
• Will hold the NEBOSH Fire qualification as a minimum
• It would be beneficial to hold the Level 4 in Fire Risk Assessing
• Strong technical knowledge
• Able to manage own workload
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Competent in using IT software such as: Microsoft Office Suite

The Role

• Conducing thorough Fire Risk Assessments across Commercial, Local Authority and Industrial client sites
• Reviewing current safety plans on site and making recommendations for improvements
• Undertaking accident investigations and implementing improvements to avoid reoccurances
• Compiling findings to produce reports
• Producing bespoke fire safety plans and drawings
• Leading on training courses for internal staff and clients
• Building and maintaining strong rapport with clients
• Meeting clients to discuss findings and to provide technical advice
